Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the AMBYL platform. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

AMBYL Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 697 533 761) operates the AMBYL financial management platform, including our website at ambyl.com.au, our mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Services"). AMBYL is designed to help individuals organise, track, and manage recurring bills, subscriptions, and financial commitments.

AMBYL is a financial management and coordination platform. It is not a licensed financial adviser and does not provide personalised financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Nothing on the AMBYL platform constitutes financial product advice under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. AMBYL does not provide refunds for unused portions of a subscription period except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.

By authorising a third-party connection through AMBYL, you consent to the relevant data sharing and acknowledge that AMBYL is not liable for errors, outages, or losses attributable to those third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 AMBYL's Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, designs, text, graphics, and features of the AMBYL platform are owned by or licensed to AMBYL Holdings Pty Ltd and are protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any part of the Services without our prior written consent.

9.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any data or content you input into the AMBYL platform. By using the Services, you grant AMBYL a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process, and display your content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Services to you.

9.3 Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback regarding the Services, you grant AMBYL a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at ambyl.com.au. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and, where applicable, the Federal Court of Australia.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you may be able to seek resolution through the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) or other applicable dispute resolution body, depending on the nature of the services involved.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies we publish, constitute the entire agreement between you and AMBYL regarding your use of the Services.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

15.3 No Waiver

AMBYL's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without AMBYL's prior written consent. AMBYL may assign its rights to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

15.5 Force Majeure

AMBYL will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, communications failures, or third-party service outages.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice within the platform. Your continued use of the Services following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
